STRUGZ All White And BareFoot Post-Event Wrap Up Report.
The Strugz “All White and Barefoot” Event tagged ‘Letting Go Of Your Inhibitions In Entrepreneurship, Relationships and Career’ held on the 2nd of October, 2016 at The Garden in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
The event was held in a bid to create a platform that will enable individuals let go of whatever inhibits them in terms of career and relationship choices, taking calculated risks in business and strategizing as an entrepreneur. It was also an amazing opportunity to network in a relaxed and fun-filled setting.
The speakers at the event, Mr Victor Okigbo and Mrs Dolapo Kukoyi, shared their experiences and daily habits that had, in the past, hindered and restricted their self-growth.
Questions like these guided our discussions:
What inhibits your creative mind?
Are you scared of people’s opinion as regards HOW YOU DO things and express your creative mind?
What will you do if you are not afraid?
It was an inspiring and transformative experience as we were left with lots of testimonials of how the event impacted positively on most of our attendees. One of our attendees Mr Emmanuel Eme, CEO Mistamang Production, an Entrepreneur, Business owner and Movie Producer said, “I was privileged to hear Victor Okigbo speak at the 1st ever All White and Barefoot Event in Lagos. Victor said that as a business owner, you have to find a way to infuse Technology into your business because your business is either being affected by a tech company today or will be affected by a tech company tomorrow. Understand that times are changing and someone somewhere is doing something new and fresh to dominate your industry, and with that understanding, ACT NOW!” He also reiterated that he came out better and stronger to take positive risks in moving his business forward.
